Quick session
566 Hands +$324.60
24.6/18.2/3.15 3b-11.5%
Will be playing more later, but the internet connection is sloppy right now.
The image I develop at the tables really allows me to make a ton of money. While the stats for this session were pretty loose for me I think I was able to maintain the same image and not spew any money but tilt the shit out of people. I even had one guy time down before folding, and before he folded typed “I’m timing down before I fold to annoy you since you wont stop raising everything.” Well sir, thanks for the warning. Frankly Sir, I don’t care what you do, as long as you keep finding that fold button. All he did was make the other 8 tables easier to play while he wasted 80 seconds.

I RUN SHIT, ORLY? (think i named an entry this)
So I would like to start off by saying FUCK YOU Maceik Grace. This guy owns me over a few K hands weve played together. Thing is I keep getting it in ahead of him, and he hits his draws. Super-user IMO!
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241813 Its my fault for not 4b here, but its a weird hand at 100NL. You almost NEVER are good with AK in PF. I know his 3b range is light (but hes a tight 3b in general) because he really opens up his 3b from the blinds. I elect to call and get it in, especially when I see this flop, I was shoving any flop anyways. Since its so wet, I elect to CB close to pot and he shoves like I was hoping. Std, superuser.
Graph for last 4 days:
Good shit IMO
So this last session was super crazy! I cant tell you how many times I got all in. I ran bad by about $300 in expectation vs short stacks but did run good in one spot I was behind… Finished up 8 bi today roughly.
Here’s some hands:
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241824 We are very deep so this hand is pretty standard. The typical 2+2 moron would say shove the flop re-raise but I think its dumb. He has a set or overs, I have a shit ton of outs and get his money if i hit any flush/9/7/back door straigh. I miss and save $100 in a spot where we clearly were getting money in regardless of the cards that rack off. I like this hand even though I lost $100 because I could have justified losing it all. Theres more than one way to play a hand.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241831 Std fish caught me.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241833 Pretty std and why I get paid off so light.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241834 Another STD hand
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241835 River bluff on someone I thought would fold an small and medium overpair.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241844 Umm, I guess….
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241845 Pretty standard line
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241846
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241847 Sure
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241850 Ahead and lose
Theres actually some funny winnners:
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241856 LOL std 100nl after the 3b. The “random hand generator” owed me one.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241857 You NEVER get it all in with QQ at 100nl, but I saw a spot where I was just 3b TOOOO much by this guy. I figure I am crushing his range and get it in. Not often you get to do this with QQ so it was nice, my image probably helped since I had 4b him pretty light a few times and he folded to CB’s or PF. I have seen people get AK in PF like 20 times tops.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241858 WOOT
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241860 This guy always bet the river when I checked to him, so I try it again vs a total whale of a fish and it works.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241862 I was kinda sure I was behind but wasnt folding. I would pay to know what he had.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241863 I never chat in chat, but this guy tanked forever. Pretty sure my chat might look weak but I guess not.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241864 What can I say, I felt like it would work.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241865 Overs/flush draw, fuck it I just lost 2 I was ahead in.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241867 What can I say? My coach says I suck at folding, in other words of course. I definatley get paid light.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241895 owned son
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241897 LOL owned. This is a notorious 3b/4b light regular. Pretty std and I like it. 100nl players 3b/4b so light but they dont know how to play 3b and 4b pots at ALL.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241904 std
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241907 double barrel air
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241910 FUN HAND
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3241915 another fun hand
Thats about it. Tired as heck. Good few days!
Favor for my coach and a good friend…
So I have a friend that is now being coached and staked by my coach.
To help out with them I am going to link a bunch of HU resources to this blog for him to reference. He’s starting at HU SNGS then probably moving to HU cash. He’s a really good player but needs a little more gamble in him so hopefully this helps.
GLGLGL Crazy!
A MUST READ, ESPECIALLY THE SAGE SYSTEM FOR HU
HU VIDEO from one of the best HU SNG players
Replay of HU SNG with thread to follow
Another one
Ill get more later for sure, I know the first three are good.

Update on me…
So one thing that bothers me is that I am a loser at 100NL. It didnt really make a lot of sense. Since this is really the only thing I play on this account it shouldnt be this way. We reset weekly to $3k and cash out profits. For this to happen, whenever my account is over $3k I am a winner. If its under, then I am losing.
Right now the account is under $3k, $2864.00 (36 hours ago it had fallen below $2k for a few hands.) So if I am down $146, how can the trackers say I have lost all this money?
First PT3. In the first 6k hands I break even, fall down $500, run up to +$235 and then fall to -$280. Then over 4k hands I run up to +$875. Then over 10k hands I slowly fall 6-bi and end the PT3 database up $275. Super swingy, I didnt catch on to 100nl super fast thats for sure.
Then to HM. I got HM because I cant stand PT3. I think its terrible software. But I import datamined hands from files I have (about 600k hands) for 100nl. Well I am VERY down and it doesnt make sense. I then realize that the datamined hands had a bunch of my hands from before when I got HM. So this DB has a lot of my old hands in it. So in HM you can filter down to the minute. I went into my email, found out down to the minute when I got my product code for HM and put that in the filter. According to that I am up $543.95 since I got that. Again, huge swings. I didnt figure out 100nl fast enough IMO.
So we are up $543.95 and $275. I should be up a total of $818. When I look at my withdrawals, there were 2 days from when I got RB and gave it to my coach until when I got HM. According to my PT3 I lost $495 those two days. So $543 in HM minus $495 in the two days I didnt have HM after RB cam and the account was reset to $3k. There is about $100 I am down that is unaccounted for. $26 was a MTT. Now $75′ish is not there. This is fine, I dont expect the trackers to be able to get EVERY hand.
But the HM numbers tilted me. They kept saying I was down $800, $700 for the longest time, but I wasnt losing over a long haul. Now that I know to filter back to the 14th I feel a lot better about the DB as I look at it.
As far as 100nl. I think I really got it down. I took some serious beats just now but still ended the session up $106.75. There was a five minute drop of 3 bi that really killed the session as I was way ahead most of the hands. I am learning that instead of 3b and 4b less, you need to really get aggro. Not quite spewtard aggro, but you need to get people to fold. Players apply pressure and when you are the table general your red (non-showdown line) goes up. You get all-in in some really SHITTY spots where you are priced to call off the rest, but in the long run you probably are still getting the best hands in. The thing is your “red line” goes through the roof this way.
So end result of my “research”:
- 100nl is a VERY swingy game, and I should expect to continue with this style, and have swings of 4bi regularly, sometimes withing 3 minute spans
- I need to keep the filter on for the 14th of September to see how my results actually are since I got this DB
- I still have some leaks to work on. In general I like all of my recent changes (ie, playing my style that got me here) and just need to keep looking at hands that I hate and remove them from the lines I use.
- While my coach wants low-variance, I don’t think that’s possible. My new style is VERY similar to my 50NL style. That was NO variance at all. Here people will call a 4b with JTs with the intentions of donk-shoving. Here people will flat a 3b with AK or 78s. They will check/shove flops with air and hands. There are a lot of spots where 3b with QJs is very profitable. But if you CB it and they shove, theres also a lot of spots where you have to call.
- One thing I learned in my FR experiment is how to play more hands that dont have bad reverse implied odds. ie; AJo, KT. Instead play a LOT more hands that have good reverse implied odds like 34s, 79s, QTs, T9s. This is something I have done a lot lately and I think I got away from. I think I did this very well at 50NL.
- The money doesnt affect me now that I have learned these things. I looked at my sessions and my coach had said “you should limit yourself to shorter sessions since you lose a lot at the end of sessions.” I think this was a HUGE leak. I dont lose in long sessions. As I looked at them, all my big sessions were the LONG ones. But when I drop 1.5-3 bi fast, I quit fast. 300 hands and done. Instead I need to tighten up, learn my tables and grind it out. Thats where I make the most money. If I sit there (maybe take a 4 min break) and play I am gonna win long term.
- I have 25 session at 100nl since the 14th. Eleven of my thirteen longest sessions were winners. 9 of my shortest 12 were losers. Now its good to lose and walk away, but you cant do that always. This is a trend that is weird, distinct and something to work on.
So thats that………
Hands:
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232547 Somehow not running bad.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232564 (thought I flopped a straight and decide to continue for FE and value on a good river on turn)
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232562 this call isnt in my range, but I said a few hands earlier that if he keeps shoving, I am gonna open up my calling range some
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232567
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232570 this is a hand I am very interested in. Exactly when am I priced to call this? I KNOW I have to CB this, because its VERY profitable long term, but what hand strength do I need to call the shove? Either way, this isnt a call and is the only real bad hand I think.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232572 This is just one of those “you have got to be fucking kidding me” moments.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232604 Here I sucker into a call because of the weird 4b size and past history. I dont usually make this play, dont think its terrible, but dont like it at all either.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232606 Weird hand. I just DONT see a hand in his range that he plays this way that has me beat…. so I call and thats that.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232607 Villans hand explains this one. This is so many hands that I have to call here. One of the rare 83/14/4 maniacs. Those are his real stats BTW.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232609 Again STD at this limit.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232608 Again sucked out on with a WTF moment
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232611 This is fucking sick, I mean WTF sick, if I win 2 of these crazy hands wtf I am goood wtf assholes at FTP suck sick.
- http://www.pokerhand.org/?3232612 Tried to 4b an isolation bet, but it turns out the “isolation” guy is a maniac fucking douche who just shoves all the time because he thinks people will fold. Ironically, he typicaly sucked out and had lots of money on the table eventually.

Switching to Full-Ring
I decided to make the switch. I am going into this with 100% effort. It probably wont be a long term thing, but will most likely last a month or two. I think the game really fits my lifestyle a litter better at the moment.
So far the results have been pretty poor but its only 10k hands at the most. I just started a new DB so that will be only for FR games.
My plan:
I started the extensive FR datamining today. Along with that I have implemented a color coding system for different types of regs.
I began watching a lot of videos. I am through about 4 so far. It is a simple game.
I’m running like shit so far. I have ran KK into AA like 5x. I also ran QQ into KK on a very low board. Regardless I am going to keep working at this.
Right now I am going to go through all of my big winners and losers so far and see what I find.

Funny shit
I dont know who knows about this deal, but Oasis (the obnoxious brothers of course) and Jay-Z HATE eachother.
The Oasis brothers were upset that Jay_Z was invited to a festival they were playing, and closing it. They once called themselves “bigger than the Beatles” which is SUPER funny when you think about it. You cant help but laugh at their antics over the years. Well after a HUGE argument and almost refusing to play this festival they went on BEFORE Jay-Z.
Here is Jay_Z closing that show.
And this is a pretty funny response from the Oasis Bros
Good stuff!
